An incredible illusion of levitation!
The magician displays a cardboard box that is open at both the front and back, making it clear that there is nothing inside. The box is placed on the floor behind a curtain, and the performer steps inside. The performer then grips the cardboard frame and raises the curtain, showing that there is nothing underneath the box and clearly demonstrating that the performer is, in fact, inside the box.
The curtain is lowered, and the performer begins to levitate while inside the box, completely hidden from view. The performer slowly rises into the air and then gradually descends, returning to the floor.
This is an illusion, not a magic trick that can be immediately performed. The illusion requires some setup before the performance. Fortunately, the setup takes only about five minutes and can be done privately before the performance.
Although the illusion is mechanical, practice is definitely needed to perform the effect smoothly. Please do not purchase this illusion expecting to perform it within a couple of days. A considerable amount of practice and time is needed to become comfortable with the illusion and its operation.
A 20-year-old performer can perform this effect, as well as a 75-year-old performer. However, regardless of age, take the time needed to practice and become familiar with the illusion.
